What does the dad mean when he says he was told to go get a white attorney? That every black person he asked pushed for a white attorney? They got a court appointed defender because they claimed indigent and couldn’t afford an attorney.

Should've asked them if they've considered leaving Texas.

They had private counsel. I believe they also applied for a PD as a backup in case they ran out of funds for private counsel.

The only thing a performative black attorney would have done was put the court through a circus.

I could be wrong, but didn’t they hire this lawyer?

I wonder what Carmelo Anthony thinks of all this.

I can't imagine what's going through his mind. I hope in time he repents and changes his life.

Their lawyer actually got this thug a good result at trial. 35 years for a murder like this is pretty good

I was thinking that exact same thing. Either that or the fact that he murdered someone with a knife. One of the two.

No one cares what they have to say now. They could’ve easily told their retard agitators to calm their shite but instead remained silent.

Hope they’re happy raising a murderous son. Thanks for the 600K gofrickme tho!!

I think LA has stricter sentencing than TX for murder. LA may be off the table now.

Spoken by the man who actually defended the British Troops who opened fire on protestors in Boston.

From AI search - John Adams defended British soldiers in the Boston Massacre trial because he believed in the right to a fair trial, even for unpopular defendants.

The difference of our founders compared to today's Pols and activists is extraordinary.

We need more John Adams and less Democrats and RINO's.

I’m so tired
I’m feeling so upset.
Although I’m so tired
I’ll have another cigarette.
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid get.
You'd say I'm putting you on.
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm.
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane.
You know I'd give you everything I've got
For a little peace of mind…

Really is wild that they got all that money and didn’t buy the best defense lawyer they could find. They needed it in this clear cut case.

I truly wonder if these people are so brainwashed by the bubble they lived in that they thought he was actually going to get off.

They are honestly just making themselves look stupid at this point. Social media is not the real world. No genuine person, white or black, thinks that dude was innocent.

I would be interested in seeing an “early life” section on Wikipedia
