My wife got a text that he was in critical condition but no mention of him passing.

In my mind, that’s a bigger problem. You can’t blame the radicalization on their country or their home being a war zone.
That tells me the religion is capable of radicalizing even the ones with a relatively normal upbringing.

As I said a few minutes ago. These Muslim immigrants are different than the ones who immigrated from places like Germany, Ireland, etc. over the past century and a half plus. Their culture is diametrically opposed to Western civilization. They don’t assimilate. They instead form conclaves and Martian their own culture. Look at places like Minneapolis. They did not assimilate into midwestern American society. They simply replaced it with their own. The same is happening in Europe wherever they go and assemble enough numbers. They have zero interest in assimilating. They are looking to supplant instead.

My guess is that he planned to do this sometime before or after the sugar bowl. Somehow he felt his plot was uncovered and had to act at 3am instead of at midnight or at the game.
