There was a book published oh, around 1848, that advocated the destruction of the middle-class, and not just economic destruction, but death and elimination. Another tenet was the destruction of ANYTHING held sacred by them, and by the current elites. So, anything that Western civilization has developed and holds dear is to be destroyed.

The BLM website used to say the same thing. And NOW we see this mayor and others like her actually doing it. Stop the world, I want to get off. The sad point is there's nowhere else on this planet to go where it's any better than here.

No offense, but I wish people would quit using the word "federal". That is money taken from people that work.

Outcome is the same. It robs wealth from everyone. Printing just does it by devaluing everything as opposed to taking it through taxation.

as of now Terrebonne and lafourche parish are still on also.

Depending what the governor does will affect that but if the governor doesn't move us back to phase 1 then it will be a go

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. I feel badly for NO. It’s a great, proud city. I want it to rebound, but the people who elected this woman have effectively prevented that.

Are you seriously trying to compare Tucks to Bacchus????

Check out their list of "Celebrity Guests" and it reads like the "Who's Who Of Hollywood" and those folks don't do it on the cheap.

it's a suburb of Nola so it counts

the NS can't survive without Nola, which is the larger point that requires no labels

Calling out the fact that you snowflakes will melt no matter what isn't a stance so much as it is a fact.

I don't. This is who they elected and so far they have shown pretty much zero willingness to stand up to any of her bullshite. The only thing people seem to be doing is running away to other places. I just cannot fathom the ability of 1 person to just decree all this shite with no serious opposition.

Im surprised there haven’t been protests/riots. NO is filled with small business owners. May as well go down fighting.

For the others who are mindfully following orders...I guess I underestimated the fight or beliefs in the citizens.

I’m not talking 50 people watching Paul McCartney.

If you roll it out more in line with a traditional New Orleans Jazz an heritage event, marketed as saving our local scene you could do a ton and people would pay.

There are a lot of ways you could do it - but the key is we hosted mid sized drive in concerts locally as far back as July. There are large pod style concerts around the country. There aren’t parades in the street.

Is anyone in LA going to actually do something about this?
