I went and bought the biggest portable a/c from Lowes and have it in our bedroom. We just have to keep the dogs in the bedroom until it's fixed.

It's a pleasant 77 degrees here in Boston today. Winters suck but there's definitely a payoff this time of year.

79 feels like 85 here. With no A/C though it's rough. I'll have the opposite snow thread in December just for you Texas people to feel better

Walking out of the door to 95-98% humidity at 7am every morning from June-Sept gets old real quick here. The fats around here really suffer (not me) during that time. Late Oct can't come fast enough.

It’s a lovely 70 and sunny here, with no humidity. Been this way for weeks.

The first time I visited CA, I flew from DFW and into Orange County in the middle of July. When I walked out of the airport and got a few steps outside I suddenly stopped in my tracks. I was waiting on the heat/ humidity wave that I was so accustomed to my entire life and it wasn't there. I made a comment to my then GF of "holy shite, where's the humidity?"

When we were there they were in a heat wave according to her grandpa and temps were pushing 83 degrees

Sure if you have $2k a month for rent. It’s really is an amazing place. The smell of eucalyptus and cedar in the cool, salty air is amazing.
