Surprised to not see LAX, PHX or BOS on your AA connecting city list. I guess you can fly everywhere from DFW though...

Thanks for the comment about the link not working. I almost put both links in the original post because the first one showed as 'unsafe' and I'm wondering if that's why it wasn't populating. I added the other great circle mapper link and it looks like you got that to work. Pretty awesome list of destinations you had this year!

Concerts and music festivals seem to be your main travel factor? Any cool bands?

2025 Travel Year End Review
Posted by CuseTiger on 12/29/25 at 7:40 am
As we close out 2025, curious how your 2025 travels have gone? Did you go to any new destinations or stick with some similar spots? Pick up any new travel perks like hotel, rental car, airline status?
I know H20 usually posts one of these links below to show all of your flights from the last year.

Total miles- 34,745
Total airports- 15
FLL Fort Lauderdale [Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Intl], FL, US
JQF Concord [Concord-Padgett Regional], NC, US
MCO Orlando [Intl], FL, US
DEN Denver [Intl], CO, US
SEA Seattle [Seattle-Tacoma Intl], WA, US
ANC Anchorage [Ted Stevens Anchorage Intl], AK, US
PBI West Palm Beach [Palm Beach Intl], FL, US
ATL Atlanta [Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta Intl], GA, US
SFO San Francisco [Intl], CA, US
JAC Jackson [Jackson Hole Airport], WY, US
DFW Dallas-Fort Worth [Intl], TX, US
SLC Salt Lake City [Intl], UT, US
RDM Redmond [Roberts Field], OR, US
GEG Spokane [Intl], WA, US
ORD Chicago [Chicago O'Hare Intl], IL, US
New airports- 3- Concord, NC (JQF), Redmond, OR (RDM), Spokane, WA (GEG)
New airlines- 1- Allegiant
I'm losing my Delta status in a few days, relatively slow year of flying for me. I've started flying direct on whatever airline offers a nonstop flight, been saving a ton of travel time. Here's to a travel filled 2026

Headed to a lions fans house this afternoon to watch the game. Wondering if I should wear a purple and gold LSU polo just to trigger him a bit

If this was two years ago, my answer would be this
Since it's 2025, I'll vote for any of the other pharma drug or boner pill commercials

Getting chippy here in Boca. Game is over but Toledo is over on the Louisville bench area

Yeah that didn't look like targeting on the replays here. But that 2 pt extra point return was nuts
TD cards, up 14-3

Could be worse, it's 78*F out with a nice breeze
Heading to the Boca bowl soon for Louisville vs Toledo. Should be a decent game I hope?

What we have up in the air right now is determining how wild we want to get with our MXP-ARN routing. My personal favorite involves an 8 hour overnight in Serbia for $91 but that is still subject to change.
I'd love to help but I'm a lot more familiar with domestic US spots like mileage runs vs the international flights. I guess the first question would be are you trying to go with a high # of flights to see new airports or just find a cool spot with a <24 hr layover?

Before airlines went to money spent vs. miles/segments I needed to do a mileage run to keep Diamond on Delta. Did the following over about 24 hours:
Nice!

MSY-MEM-CVG-DTW-CLE-DTW-IAH-DTW-CLE-DTW-CVG-MEM-MSY
The only mileage run I did was on US Airways to get status with AA based on segments. MSY-DCA-CLT-RDU-PHL-BUF (overnight and see a sabres game), next day BUF-BOS-DCA-MSY. All in early december and all flights were on time or early, it was a christmas miracle
re: 2025-2026 Ski Thread
Posted by CuseTiger on 12/21/25 at 9:21 am to Yeti_Chaser
It's -8*F feels like -16*F currently here in Alaska. I think the highest temp has been 2*F feels like -6F while skiing. There may be some snow here, but after about an hr to an hr and a half me and a buddy had to call it each of the last 3 days. Ready for 80 degree temps tomorrow!
You need to look up EU 261. Since your flight began in the EU, even having a connecting flight cancel in the US on your way home would count. You need to ask delta for $$. This article below at least has the generics, need to be specific in your request to delta. There's no way a refund of $14 is appropriate especially given the delay would have been overnight. Should've been comped a hotel. Id ask for eu 261 for all 5 travel members given the overnight rebooking.

Flight from Seattle to Anchorage was oversold by 10 people, offer got up to $1200. I'm usually all over that but meeting someone at anchorage airport
Flying up to Alaska to ski Alyeska later this week. Looks cold but I'll have a good time for some early season turns!
re: Flying the Day After Christmas
Posted by CuseTiger on 12/7/25 at 3:47 pm to LSUMaverick
What time of day? I flew out last year day after Christmas and ATL was busy but not chaotic. Generally I'd suggest the first flight out of the day just to beat the chaos
Yup. Their upper mountain looks good, lower mountain could use more snow. They're in a warm stretch too over the next 4 days, but snow once that's gone
Headed to Alaska in 2.5 weeks, will get a few early season days in there! Weather pattern looks to be shifting to PNW favor in the next week or two so fingers crossed for y'all
