re: I have to fly to LAX tomorrow - CuseTiger
Let us know how it goes. I need to do a house hunting trip to seattle but trying to push it off for as long as I can. Curious how dead the airports are, if you see any planes unusually parked like Delta in ATL, how empty the parking lots are, etc....

re: When will flight prices begin to drop? - CuseTiger
For those of you looking to buy flights, I would recommend booking by April 15th. They will let you change as many times as you want for free up until I think it's Dec 31st. You will have to pay the fare difference for the new flights, but can change for free. If the flights are even cheaper, you'll...

re: Airline service is gonna be down significantly for a while - CuseTiger
I've got no reason to, just personal preference. Don't want to risk potentially getting stuck somewhere out of the country, theres enough cheap deals here in the us, and a lot of places in the us i haven't seen yet. Why fly for 12 hours when I can go 3 hours and see someplace new like montana, maine...

re: Airline service is gonna be down significantly for a while - CuseTiger
It's a sad sight to see, absolutely hate it . The only good news is we'll see cheap airfare for a long time to come given recent oil prices and corona effects. I know personally I'll avoid out of the US travel for a year if I can. For all airlines, we're going to see major flight reductions in pl...

re: Moving to Seattle in Two Months: Housing Recs, Things to Do, Etc. - CuseTiger
Thanks for all these suggestions. I'm working out final negotiations and then will be back on here asking for some further help. I'm requesting a house hunting trip to see the area so before I do that I'll come up with a detailed list of the areas I'm interested in seeing. I'll also ask for road...

re: Moving to Seattle in Two Months: Housing Recs, Things to Do, Etc. - CuseTiger
Would you recommend the east for a 30 yr old? I'm honestly looking for a place to settle down, pay off debt, and get settled in with the new job. Don't need the night clubs or to be surrounded by bars, but as long as there's some things in the area to do outside of work I'm fine with that...

re: Moving to Seattle in Two Months: Housing Recs, Things to Do, Etc. - CuseTiger
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. So far it sounds like east is the nicest, but most expensive area. Young people live to the west of the lake. Doesn't sound like downtown is for me at all if I want quiet/a balcony/yard Pimp, thanks for the video, now have the next hour planned. Helping me set...

Moving to Seattle in Two Months: Housing Recs, Things to Do, Etc. - CuseTiger
Hope everyone is doing well on here given recent events. Given all of the uncertainty going on with the virus, I've managed to interview and be offered a job in the Seattle area with a likely start date of June 1. I have never been to the area before, but this is a great opportunity for my career to...

re: Working From Home Check-In Thread - CuseTiger
Checking in. Feels weird since most of my work is hands on experiments at the office. Have enough data and reporting to work on for the rest of the week and likely next week to keep me busy. Biggest issue is i cant schedule a gotomeeting because everyone else is also working from home......
