re: Tornado! Watch until 5:00pm - SW & CenLA under the Gun - CuseTiger
We will be watching the AA app throughout the night. Today is her birthday so we're trying to not let the weather ruin it
Exactly, enjoy today and worry about this tomorrow. AA won't even know their DFW operations for tomorrow until late tonight once they figure out if planes/crews a...

re: Tornado! Watch until 5:00pm - SW & CenLA under the Gun - CuseTiger
What's the destination? AA usually allows tracking of the inbound flight on their website and also flightaware. If she's going to a small place like Baton Rouge or Alexandria, then those regional flights are usually the first to cancel with inclement weather. Bigger planes, less likely to cancel...

re: Tornado! Watch until 5:00pm - SW & CenLA under the Gun - CuseTiger
Pretty sure any other flights out of DFW might get canceled soon
So far we're still looking good at DFW, departure delays of 26 minutes but if there's ice/hail that will put things in a crawl immediately. Will keep an eye on the rest of the afternoon...

Looks nasty by the Houston IAH airport, 1 hr 30 min departure delays. Arrivals doing okay for now. Alexandria about to have 3 diverted flights unless they catch a break in the storms...

re: Army/Navy Game in Philadelphia - CuseTiger
I have also never been to Philadelphia, and would probably end up making a 4-5 day vacation out of the trip, but can anyone speak to the influx in people that the game would cause a city of Philadelphia's size, or would it be business as usual
Can't help you with the ticket question,...

re: Google Flights Webpage Update - CuseTiger
I recently finished my PhD in a field of science, just do this type of stuff for a hobby. Always loved to travel, learned some tricks along the way that can help others. It's a little creepy when I track my parents or siblings flights on flightaware and text them as soon as they land . You ever...

re: Google Flights Webpage Update - CuseTiger
 it's just a new thing to get used to, kinda like when TD had the update switching all the boards from the left to the top. Another issue I've noticed is once you pick a departing flight and are looking for a return, you can't see that first flight you picked. If you want to change it, you...

Google Flights Webpage Update - CuseTiger
Is anyone else having trouble using the new google flights update? In the old version, it was relatively easy to use the map and zoom in on cities. At that point, the prices would appear next to the cities. Now it seems like they have a list on the left hand side for just the major US cities and whe...
And looks like you got the loser spot by the bathrooms at Great Notion
We were by the window to the brewing area so it wasn't all that bad. Those IPA's are delicious though
Certainly better than the folks around Boston on my last vacation
See I'm from the northeast...

re: Portland, OR in February: Updated with Review and Pictures! - CuseTiger
After the brewery, we drove back to Portland via highway 6 to get a different view. It's a very nice drive along a river with several hiking spots on the way. Most were closed though through february [img]https://i.imgur.com/JBCl0TS.jpg widt...

 All good. Review of yesterday is below Alright so our day yesterday started off by driving 26 through the mountains to the coast. It was lightly drizzling for most of the drive through these huge pine trees and with the fog, it was rather creepy. By the time we got to Cannon Beach, it was ...
