You get heat indexes in Baghdad that are actually lower than the air temperature due to the low dew points.

Got in my car earlier and the thermometer said 122 
because it was sitting in the sun. Started driving and it cooled all the way down to 113. My dad said his car said 113 too.

Heat index in Memphis today was 114. I swear the summers here are noticeably worse than South Louisiana. At least there it rains and cools down almost every day...heat index here is usually higher and there’s rarely rain in sight.

I always look forward to the first dove hunt of the year as it's predominantly the best hunt of the year. It's the middle of Sept and it's hot as all dimensions of hell
Last year it was mid 90s until cloud cover saved us
When the birds are flying I could not give a shite about how much I'm sweating. That's about the only time I don't mind the heat
