What type ship is that? It looked like a well deck on an amphibious assault ship at first, but then like a gigantic LCAC. Not familiar to me. Does the Navy have enormous catamarans?
Wasp Class LHD (landing helicopter dock). This particular ship is the USS Bataan. It carries the wing and Helo company of grunts for the MEU.
But was that the Bataan in the photo? I've been aboard the Wasp and it didn't look like the ship in the pic.
The Wasp is badass. The well deck was full of LCACs, tanks, LAVs, trucks and assorted other shite. Not to mention the Marines who make all that stuff go BOOM!

this event is red pilling a lot of people. the “far left” looks absolutely insane for being on the side of terrorists who murdered men, women, children and are actively holding innocent Americans right now
I would say this is 100% incorrect.

Maybe for younger people with a solid family unit, that’s not the case for many people that grew up with a phone acting as a parent.

Keep it up dipshits and the end of the Democratic Party as you know it will be complete.

This “invasion” that Israel will undertake is doomed to failure because of our leaders.
This “invasion” is going to look like the Afghanistan “retrograde” Hard to tell if it’s incompetence or this is exactly what they want, but don’t dare say it aloud.

You are right, Bucky. But the left needs to feel the sting of this illiberal cancel culture, before we can get a bipartisan commitment to free speech.

Maybe 30 years ago but not today. I registered to vote in 98 as Democrat, now 25 years later I’m nothing more than a Blue Dog. The party started leaving me behind in former President Obama’s second term and it hasn’t looked back. But, for every person like me, there’s 10 people that are under 20 that were raised on social media. In my opinion 24 hour news networks and social media destroyed what was the Democratic Party, the same is also true for the Republican Party.

Their is NO freaking way the Trump administration would be shipping in aid to Gaza before we had the hostages back and destroyed Hamas.
To the people of Gaza, once you have renditioned all members of Hamas to Israel we will provide you the aid needed to not only survive but prosper.
* then crawfish on the deal and turn it into a tent city anyway inviting them to go live in Kazakhstan.

Just in: The US military's top commander in the Middle East, @CENTCOM commander Gen. Michael 'Erik' Kurilla, arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel, for "high-level meetings with Israel's military leadership."
Kurilla to meet Israeli defense chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi "to gain a clear understanding of Israel's defense requirements, outline US support efforts to avoid expansion of the conflict and reiterate the Department of Defense's ironclad support for Israel," per @CENTCOM
"I'm here to ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself, and am particularly focused on avoiding other parties expanding the conflict," Kurilla said, according to @CENTCOM .
What our leader's initial knee jerk verbiage should have been, by no later than Oct. 8th, was "we are sending naval forces immediately and putting significant armed forces on 'ready to deploy' alert for the region".
If you want the fight to stay Hamas/Iran vs. Israel this is how you do it. You give Lebanon, Syria, et. al. a reason to "moderate" THEIR response. You do NOT, knee jerk, within 24 hrs. start expressing concern about Israel's response.... which hasn't even happened.
Our leaders were, and continue to do, handwringing over something that hasn't even happened yet (i.e. Israel's full response) while Americans (and allies) are hotages held by people who just torture-slaughtered over a thousand civilians, intentionally, and killed over 300 of our allies of the IDF, beheading and desecrating most of the bodies... with no handwringing over that.
To channel my internal Rickdaddy:
1. FACT- Israel is an ally.
2. FACT- that ally was attacked.
3. FACT- that ally formally declared war on Gaza by both executive and legislative action.
FACT- we are determined to provide aid and comfort to an enemy of an ally who has declared war on that enemy.

Are we sure Israel actually wants to do a ground invasion? Feels like a hurricane that we wait weeks for to hit then it actually dies off or veers away at the last second.

They want to but the Brandon Administration is preventing it. We're making them deliver aid and cut power/water back on. Then we'll tie their hands behind their back as they go in with a whimper. 3-4 months from now it'll be a huge failure.
