After months and months of Ukraine vs Russia I feel the same way. It’s like if Alabama and Mississippi are fighting a war; they may have legitimate reasons to hate each other, one may be the aggressor and one the victimized, but in the end they are essentially the same guy to me.

I had more sympathy for the Palestinian cause before last Saturday. I've learned about the events from studying ww1 and ww2, but I have to say, once you go subhuman, I cant say it registers much anymore.

We just eliminated Ayman Nofal, a senior Hamas operative.
Nofal was the Commander of Hamas’ Central Brigade in Gaza and the former Head of Military Intelligence.
Nofal directed many attacks against Israeli civilians and besides being one of the most dominant figures in the terrorist organization, he was involved in the planning of the abduction of Gilad Shalit.
We won't stop until we eliminate Hamas.

But sure, yeh they are the same

At the least they will teabag someone for being an opposing fan.

Correct. IIRC, there were some Israeli Arabs who got killed in the attacks.

Ask any liberal this or any “well they both have sweethearts and aren’t all bad” people
You get to live in Israel and you have to fly your Christian flag outside your home
You get to life in Palestine and you have to fly your Christian flag outside your home
Which are you choosing?

Honestly with as far off as the left has gone im not even sure how they would respond tbh. Find some reason to defend both based on "culture" or some stupid shite.

Cool. Just wondering. Enjoyed your input here.

If one can say Hamas did something positive, it is that they acted like such barbarian pieces of shite that it makes it very easy to ignore or castigate anyone who defends what they did.

Ford CSG just announced an extended deployment.

That’s true. One is more villainous . That’s why I have been a relentless critic of Putin for decades now. But still, in the end, Ukraine and Russia are the same guy.

They are predators, in the criminal sense such as a rapist or serial killer and in the political sense where they sought and found an opportunity to strike in the most heinous way possible. Not just terrorists - predators.
Many Israeli's are just like our left where there is an element of self hating of the government or what Israel stands for in favor of the Palestinians. And that's fine and all.... except... because they are a democracy that sentiment is going to be reflected in how their government operates. And it did. That self-loathing helped create the opportunity that their predatory neighbor took advantage of.
It is a warning to us in the US that I have no doubt in my mind we will not heed.

I appreciate that.
Once the thread hit critical mass, it went on repeat. Same stuff regurgitated over and over - and, of course, the shite talkers yapping away. Not much to offer amongst all that.
No more waiting rooms to sit in, so my chunks of time are gone, but I enjoy TD and will pop back in. If there's anything specific I can answer (if I know anything about it), I'm happy to respond.

IDK, I wouldn't trust anything Hamas said. My next week all the leadership will be announced "dead" and therefore Israel shouldn't be attacking them.
