She is female and Hollywood... You can bet she is going to share her opinion and use her platform...
Her creator probably already has that planned out

A computer-generated actress named Tilly Norwood will be signed by an agency “in the coming months,” a claim made at the Zurich Summit by her creator, the Dutch actress, comedian and digital producer Eline Van der Velden.
.
Dutch comedian - she won't be slightly funny
Eline Van der Velden

Depends. Who did she vote for?

Van Der Velden made it seem like Hollywood agencies have been circling her AI project for months in an interview at the Zurich Film Festival industry event on Saturday, according to Deadline.
Sure, Jan

How naive are you? Someone programs "her"
Its not AI if it does not program itself to a large degree.

Kids do not care about delineating between digital and physical worlds. They literally have grown up sucked into the digital spaces presented by iPads and phones, and becoming attached to an AI actor will not be out of the norm for them.
I've been trying to tell this to people who think AI wont replace their creative jobs. Many say they can tell the difference. Sure, maybe YOU can, but your kids... Even if they can, they may WANT this.
Here is a terrifying thought. When I watch this, the dialog is a bit stilted. Not awful, but just a little off. Two things will happen in the future. 1) that will get better 2) Younger generations, if they grown up with this, will start to talk like what they hear.
AI "mistakes" will become the input generations raised on it receive. It will form how they talk, act...
and think.

It would not surprise me if at some point in the future people are able to add a few prompts of what kind of programming they want into a generator and it will immediately build an entire show or movie that is exactly what they want.
I can guarantee that this will suck.

Hollywood should just move to AI. Cost would plummet.
Quality might improve.
They could make a movie just from asking Grok "what's going on with Black Twitter" and it would be the best comedy of the year.

In 10 years you will be able to create a movie with AI in 5 mins. Won't need Hollywood anymore.

Why would they "sign" her.
Seems like the whole point is you don't have to sign anyone. Just create what you want.
The person who created this is a comedian. I'm guessing that claim is part of the joke.

This year? Not a chance, but in leas than 20 years, I absolutely see this happening.

I'm sure it's some kind of contract. NIL type thing

To complete the bookends set, all of Washington DC's "central casting" actors should do us a favor by also moving to AI.

This is so gross. Especially when so many actors and writers lost their livelihood during the strike last year,
Yeah! Remember all the shits those millionaires gave while working people were losing their jobs and businesses!
Let them eat AI flavored cake

Wow. I bet the Hollywood A-listers fight this to their death.

Is she going to be just another Hollywood liberal?

Imagine watching a digital version of yourself walk along with the fellowship in Lord of the rings or take down some bad guys in any 90s action movie.
This sounds terrible to me. I can’t stand watching 15 second clips of video’s with my voice in the background. I have no interest in watching myself in a feature length film.

Google's Veo 3 can already make 8 second videos and some of this shite is better than most of the shite that has been made in the past 5 years.
