I never thought of that. Good idea. Thank you.

Sorry to bore all of you with having to air out my dirty laundry. I feel pretty
mortified right now.

I don’t know where you live, but in CA if you qualify for Medicaid, the exchange site points you that way rather than having h you continue with the exchange app.

I'll say it - I believe obamacare was a precursor to single payer govmint healthcare.

Yep, it was all designed to move healthcare to single payer govmint healthcare. Just like Cuba.

Elections have consequences.

The pics don’t have to be taken lately, here’s a pic that was posted here yesterday that was taken in 1953.

Anne Bancroft showing nice underboob.

Good underboob and side boob are ALWAYS welcomed here.

I didn’t have seeing that on my TD Bingo Card for the entire year.

Glad I did see it though.

Good luck on your other issue.

If you have no income you have to apply for Medicaid not ACA, ACA "subsidies" are only for those in a small income window (Not sure but like only those that earn 10K to 38K income you get a subsidized deal)

Other than that you get screwed because the middle class is now footing the bill for the mostly lazy losers in the game of life.

Not every state expanded Medicaid. The red states require you to work and fit within a certain income range to qualify for subsidies. People who used to qualify for Medicaid under the old system, pre-Obamacare (ie, single poor women with children) still qualify for Medicaid but only the blue states expanded it to cover healthy men.

I'm not sure how it works with married couples. If I had to toss out a guess, I would say her estranged husband signed up for Obamacare and filed a married filing jointly tax return to maximize his tax return and now her attempts to file a tax return are hitting that roadblock. If so, she needs professional help and guidance.

Another "scam" or hustle that happens is that young couples just never get legally married. Wife uses the tax code to qualify for benefits as a single mother - child tax credits, food stamps, Section 8, Medicaid but otherwise lives as common law husband and wife with the baby daddy who has a job but his paycheck doesn't gum up the family benefit hustle because they aren't married.

And I think the OP is some troll. Clearly if very low income - Medicaid.

If normal income but 78 years old - Medicare.

Yes.
And internet.
I pass by a government building daily to and from work.
On the sidewalk outside they have one EasyUp for phones and one for internet.

The ACA enhanced subsidies that were enacted during covid ended 12/31/2025
The House voted to extend them for three years but the the bill didn't pass the Senate vote

If you are a resident of LA age 45 you can have a MAGI of up to 62,500 and still receive a premium subsidy
The subsidies depend on state of residence, age etc..etc..
