No. 18 LSU opened as a 7-point road favorite over Auburn for Saturday's SEC matchup at Jordan-Hare Stadium, but the betting line has already moved in the Tigers' favor.

The spread has climbed to LSU -8.5, according to the latest odds, making Lane Kiffin's squad more than a touchdown favorite on the road.

LSU (5-2) is coming off a dominant 31-0 shutout victory over Mississippi State in Baton Rouge, while Auburn (4-2) pulled off a massive 27-24 upset over No. 1 Georgia in Athens last weekend.

Saturday's matchup will mark the first meeting between LSU and Auburn since 2023. The two programs met every season from 1992 through 2023 as SEC West rivals before conference realignment and the league's new scheduling format brought an end to the annual series.

Saturday's matchup will kick off at 11 a.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., on ABC.

I don’t understand how LSU gets this amount of credit. I think I read Beamer has a better SEC road record than Kiffen.
