I'm actually going with a buddy to a screening of Holy Grail presented by John Cleese soon.

The man is a legend. Maybe more than any other python

Even though I don't like MP, I am a big fan of Terry Gilliam. I love Brazil, Time Bandits, Fear & Loathing, etc.

Yes they are funny. Could be over your head though.

Steve Martin is not funny.

I think it’s funny, but people tend to overreact to it positively or negatively. It’s absurdist humor and some people just don’t like it. I love it, but I never need to hear the “elderberries” quote again. Ever.

Some of y’all need to chill.

On the other end, if you can’t find one single thing that they do that’s funny… it’s not them, it’s you. They are funny.

If you can tolerate some light blasphemy, The Life of Brian is the funniest.

I am not a big repeat-viewer of movies or shows, but I watched this at least twice a year as a teen/college student.

I saw that a few years ago, and I went into it very excited. Unfortunately, he was a miserable whiny bitch during the Q&A, even threatening to leave the stage and end the show because people were "Wooing" when cheering.

Most of their material isnt funny but some of it is. I think it's a cultural thing. I didn't find Benny Hill to be funny either. But Mr. Bean, he's funny.

Love most of the movies, only one or two sketches were funny on the tv show.

Yes, quite funny if you have the sophistication to understand it. I've found most of the people who do not find it funny are poorly read or low IQ.

I bet you didn’t even crack a smile at the Constitutional Peasants scene of the Holy Grail movie.

This is my point - it's not nearly as clever as everyone says it is.

It's both clever and stupid at the same time. That's the brilliance.
