So you consider her a piece of property and plan on getting rid of her after 5 years?

Your definition of what it is to be a man makes zero sense.

Yeah, I've been married almost 20 years, raised my kids and supported my family, but because I moved in with my wife 4 months before we married, I'm disqualified from "real manhood".

Not trashy.

I'd even go so far as to say it's smart.

Why buy the cow if you're getting the milk for free?

Don't know about trashy but it's not necessary imo. Having good communication skills helps a bit so you know exactly what you're getting into. Got married then moved in together - no surprises I can recall bc we hashed it all out way before we got married

Of course it isn't trashy.

I'm assuming all the "yes" responses are from religious folks?

My fiancé and I will have been together for 10 years this year. Could not have imagined not living together for a good portion of that. We have not doubt that we are right for each other at this point and didn't rush into a "young" relationship even though we are both 26. We will be married in April of this year. I can see how people don't like it and it is very frowned upon where we are but so is divorce so I always ask which would they rather. Our relationship would not have lasted this long without living together and we would have killed each other if we felt "tied" to each other once we started living together. The option to leave made us stronger.

I couldn't give two shits what they think. If I did we would have a really hard time living in the Bible Belt.

FTR we own multiple vehicles and homes together which just rubs more salt in the wounds of the butt hurt we talk to on a daily basis. After they finish judging us and realize we aren't complete heathens they come around.

Of course it is. At least the trashy ones will identify themselves in this thread.

I've gotten to the point that if what I do or like is not considered trashy by the OT then I'm doing something wrong.
