There happens to be a few things wrong with your sentence here.

Secondly, principles of non-trashy people.

Hell yeah it's trashy.
They should be jailed for illegal cohabitation.

So it's Ok to sleep with your SO before marriage but not to live with them?

You tell me.

Is it trashy to sleep with someone you do not intend to marry?

Diggin' your own grave here, baw.

This.

Same reason sex before marriage is also important

You don't truly know someone until you live with them. It makes sense to live with someone before you say I do. Not sure how that makes one trashy. It's also a sound financial decision. Why pay for two places when you will most likely spend most of your time at one?

GtG.

You must admit that a majority of that can be figured out in the dating process. And if you can't figure out most of that stuff then you don't know how to date someone.

Right. You have to say that that is accurate.

Actually I'm pretty sure you just did & I'm thinking the Pectus universe of who thinks what is trashy just decreased to almost nil.

What about spending every night together while you're dating? I usually do that after 6 months or a year.

If I was engaged to someone, we'd definitely be living together

Outside of religious reasons, what are the arguments against living together before marriage?

I begged my g/f now wife to let us shack up before we got married. She refused on etiquette- we've been married almost 20years and I'm glad she stuck her ground

I don't think you "need" to fully live with someone, but I definitely think you need to have a pretty clear idea of what it is like to do so... i.e. even if you technically have separate places, you stay at one person's place enough to feel as if it is your own.

That said, paying for your own place if you're never there is a bitch.

Why? Do you think you would be divorced if you had moved in earlier?

No she just thought that if we shacked up that maybe we would have been happy to never get married. We had already dated for about 3 years so we knew each other pretty well
