re: Is it trashy to live with your SO before marriage?

I more or less lived with my fiance for 8 months before we got engaged. When we were moving from Atlanta to Nashville, it would have been financially ridiculous to pay two rents just to appease whatever archaic belief system our parents had. Renting a one bedroom in the city is already as much as a mortgage on a house. There is absolutely no way we were going to basically pay two mortgages worth of rent because our grandparents may be upset with us living together. For the judgmental people saying it's trashy, I hope you refrained from having sex with your significant other before marriage, too.
