Not really. I've been eating out a little more than usual to get out of the house and we probably spend $100/month in gas.

My job provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks every day so I'm spending a lot more on food.

You can be the community relations coordinator and be on payroll and troll the ghetto for us like Baton Rouge Councilwoman C.Denise Marcelle does for Gordon

This whole thing has made me realize how much I spend at breweries or ordering drinks at restaurants every weekend.

I've definitely saved a good bit.

I went on a vacation right before everything locked down, which usually puts me quite a hit on my CC for a bit. But being quarantined has made me spend next to nothing, so its like I never took a vacation.

We are actually dining out more. However, we're usually going somewhere for some event every weekend, so it evens out.

Saving on restaurants and bars for sure, but canceling that out with supplies for all kinda DIY projects around the house and yard.

I was freaking out because we spent $800 on food and necessities the past two weeks. Thought we were blowing the budget out of the water.

Turns out, we'll spend $100 less overall for the month with us avoiding going out to eat.

Typically spend about $1200/month on groceries, going out to eat, and necessities. We've only spent $1100 and have zero reason to go back to the store.

We spend $1000 a month on child care.

Childcare place closed but asked us to continue paying so they could keep their doors open.

I threw them the finger and walked out asking them if they planned on paying me back for the expense and trouble of having to find a person to fill in since we still have to work.

Hell yeah, this limits my wife’s IRL shopping and Amazon Prime shopping now that she knows she won’t get anything she orders until late April.

Hopefully people realize the importance of having a savings and not living paycheck to paycheck... but nah probably not.

That's some bullshite.

Our daycare is still open, but they are offering half off the weekly to any parents keeping their kids at home.

Sadly, the ones that do will forget it by next week.
I got called a prepper just a few days ago, on this forum, for having enough food in the freezer and money saved to get myself through this.
