We typically grabbed dinner twice a week and drinks once every two weeks. Add in a movie once a month. Lunch a few days a week.

Even with prepping expenses, I'm on track to save about 6-700 bucks this month.

My wife has offset that by panic-buying shite

Maybe people will realize the importance of financial responsibility and independence after this ordeal.

there are certainly some aspects of life when money spent has gone way down.

My debit card has never been so cold. I'm hoping I can continue at least some of these habits after this is over.

Since there's nowhere to go spend my paycheck, it's mostly going into savings.

Your debit card should always be cold unless you’re at an ATM withdrawing cash

I should save about $200 month in gas and about $600 a month in eating out.

Yes.

We are literally only spending money on groceries right now.

I knew it was coming. I do use my credit card most of the time. Not really sure why I typed debit.

I think I've spent like $60 this week. $45 was gas.

Nah, have probably spent more picking up food and liquor from the local places in order to avoid the big grocery store.

That said, not much more.

Concert tickets and hotels/airbnb's. I've gotten over $1500 in refunds alone. Plus what we save by not eating out and drinking when traveling.
