I'm sorry you're too poor to move out of North Charleston baw. Maybe one day, if you work hard, you can afford a nice track home in Summerville.

No thanks. But, I guess some people just desperately want to live in Charleston (metro area).

No offense to the Birmingham people but Huntsville>>>Birmingham

It's not, not yet at least. It could surpass though in the next decade. They are doing some great things, and I never waiver in my belief that the Birmingham politicians will frick up what the business owners are trying to do for the city.

No, it’s rated properly. I dislike going to North Alabama, which seems to be this boards favorite part, including Huntsville for work. Spend time in a bunch of different areas including Guntersville and the Shoals area. Not a fan of B’ham or Tuscaloosa either. I would never want to move there, period.

Having said that, I would move there well before I would move back to Louisiana.

Edit: Huntsville >>>>>>>>>>>> B’ham

huntsville will be the biggest city in the state in the next few years i believe. compare the leadership in both cities and it's night and day.

It’s got a long way to go before it surpasses Birmingham. It can happen though eventually.

If by saying that, what you really mean is, 'after putting up Roy Moore against Doug Jones, therefore forcing the state to vote for a liberal'...then sure, I'll give you that.

Florence/Muscle Shoals is still one of my favorite towns. Very much underrated. Small college town with fantastic fishing and hunting.

Why don't you and Roy Moore go finger some teenagers and jerk off to Leviticus together?

Huntsville will never surpass Birmingham

Unless you are only talking about the City of Birmingham and not the metro area.

Sure it could, including the metros, but mainly talking about the city. They are doing some amazing things up there for the city. It won't be any time soon, but it can definitely happen. Like I said, I have full faith in Birmingham's ability to frick up any progress we make.

Having a mountain house in Mentone that I visit a few times a year is about as much as I would ever want to live there.
