You should discuss this with Fr33. I seem to remember him being worried about his "biological imperative", which precluded adoption because, you know, the child wouldn't really be "his".
It's an old thread, maybe 10 years ago.

Do you still need "grounds" for divorce? I'm pretty sure you just file and pay.

I had an employee from Pakistan who divorced her husband b/c, in her exact words to me, "he wasn't fertile". When I said I was sorry they were having to go through this, she told me he was really sad about it.

OP also claimed to have 6 kids in his stimulus check thread. So either he’s lying (likely) or he doesn’t need more kids anyway.

If you divorce your wife because she can’t have kids, first, you’re an a-hole and second the relationship wouldn’t have lasted anyway.

I knew a guy with a narrow urethra who still managed to have a son

This doesn’t apply to me I was asking as a generality.

You don't need grounds for a divorce just the understanding of having to give up assets.

Asked this to a couple dating. It's a good philosophical question.
I'm kind of on the fence.
Of the couple: guy said he didn't think so.
Girl said yes.

Idk maybe you're the one with the issue?
Let's assume you both got tested and she's the one with the problem for this exercise.
Having said that: friends of mine thought the wife was barren and couldn't have children.
Two years later she was pregnant.
So nothing is written.
