re: Is a Barren Woman Grounds for Divorce?

I worked with a woman that wound up divorcing her husband because he couldn't have children. She wanted to go through artificial insemination and he refused. She believed that his objection to AI was because she would be "closer" to the child than he would be (because it would be her biological child) and he didn't think that was "fair." He wanted to adopt. She really wanted to go through the childbirth experience and have her own biological children. Even though they were both BIG TIME Catholics, they wound up divorcing over the issue.
She remarried and now has four children.
I sided with her. I think he was being selfish.

Anything can be legally, but that is a dick move morally.

This. My wife and I adopted because she couldn't get pregnant. No way in hell I would've left her. You're a worthless scumbag if you do.
Furthermore, he doesn't sound like a loving, caring person. Does he really need to be a dad?

My ex wife didn’t interpret it that way. Now she has a new husband and a child of her own. They got married as soon as the ink was dry on our divorce and had the baby 9 months later
I’m sorry your ex wife is a count. You’re better off without her. Hope you consider adoption

OP is either a troll or a huge douchebag and completely retarded. Leaning towards option 2. He’s consistently bad
Congrats on adopting! I’m sure it’s been very rewarding for you, your wife, and your child. You did a great thing

it is likely all 3 UD. my wife and I are considering adopting - my sister inlaw did it, and her son is fricking amazing.
