Our society won't lock down, for better or worse.
I wear a mask when appropriate. I wash my hands and carry hand sanitizer. I go to the pub almost every day but distance outside.
I also know that the shutdowns were to "flatten the curve" to prevent the hospital system from being overrun like NYC. The curve is flattened and hospitals are not overrun but the media and politics must continue to push hysteria. Don't accept the hysteria but don't fall into thinking that its just the flu.
We need to open up but do so responsibility. By responsibly, I mean distance, wear a mask when you can't distance,and wash your damn hands. Don't close business down.

There are parts of the country that probably are about to get absolutely hammered with the virus, just like Louisiana has been for the last few months.
But it never made sense for anyone to talk about Covid in the U.S. as one event. The waves are completely different in different places at different times. Louisiana is a perfect example, just within our own state we've had two very different waves.
Example, using New Orleans region and Acadiana region, notice the two completely different curves
Now consider trying to make sweeping generalizations about Covid getting worse or better in the entire country.

It's like these people believe college and high school students have been locked in their rooms for 5 months. They've actually all been out socializing with one another, and a good portion of them have already caught the virus while not knowing it since most young people will have no symptoms or mild symptoms.

I sure wish i could be called an expert by making a 50/50 statement.

He was on Joe Rogan podcast on March 10th. Said gloves and masks were basically ineffective. Social distancing would help. Also said the most probable scenario was for the virus to run its course. That no one could hide from it forever.
