I'm not nearly as close anymore to the daily workings of Auburn as several posters here are and I have no idea if Deuce wants to come back. That said, if he did want to come back, Golesh would be wise to take Durkin's advice on it since DJ has a pretty good feel for the attitudes of even the players on offense and both AG and DJ seem to have similar locker room expectations.

Indiana is this year's winner.

You have to give Cignetti more credit than that. Yes, he utilized NIL and the transfer portal but it's not like he was out bidding schools for 5*s. He judged talent in the G5 world and pulled from there. A lot came from JMU where he did the same thing.
Someone downvoted both of us. He's smart.

Ole Miss has deeper pockets than us? That’s unexpected.

Who implied that?

But his agent said no.

His agent works for him.

I would much rather have Brown than Deuce

I'd love to have both.

Worked wonders for Nix when he went to Oregon.

Nix never needed a psychologist, he just had to leave a dysfunctional team. His struggles weren't due to him. Arnold bounced from team to team due to the same issues.

Got a feeling AG is going to run a tight ship and put in the effort, and the ones transferring want no part of that.

Golesh's opening team meeting was pretty direct on how he envisions the team to be. I suspect that many that are in the portal now rolled their eyes. I'm also confident that many others thought that it's about time.

We'll probably not get a real insight into this coaching paradigm shift but that's how I see it. I'll roll with Golesh until I've got reasons not to.

Can he coach him outta holding the ball for eternity? Two other coaching staffs couldn't

He has all the physical tools but he needs a sports psychologist more than a QB coach.

Such a good girl. Sorry you had to put her down. Mine was 18 and it sucked.

He had a G-Shock contract.

I somehow did not know that.

The defense and the offense were night and day. I don't know how DJD motivated the D to keep that putrid offense in the game for the entire season but he must've been doing something right.

DJ is high energy and can be tough but he's also able to relate well with players. The good kids want to be coached hard, the soft ones wear designer watches during games.

Not sure how or why anyone downvotes any of that

I didn't downvote, in fact I agree with a lot of it. However, it's a tough sell when your roster was touted as one of the best in the country.

If it would work in the NFL the offenses would already be using it effectively.

Due to hash mark differences.

Wait, by “there” do you mean UT or USF?

I think he's talking about the style offense that they run.

I don't think many put much stock into what he says.

The top half of the teams in the SEC could beat either of them. are my eyes deceiving me or are they just not that impressive? I don’t see Alabama having a lot of trouble with Indiana. Alabama has been seriously tested all season, can’t say the same for Indiana.

I don't know the split but Indiana had a significant advantage. Considering Indiana's and Alabama's football history, this isn't surprising.

Start with the most important position on the field!

As you stated, this is a must. WRs won't go where they don’t know who the ball will be coming from.
