I'm noticing more and more articles written with the only theme as "rich people bad"

I keep seeing these articles across various sites. They are basically: I know a rich person and they are gross!!

It's looking at rich people as some sort of zoo animal to be observed and studied (and ridiculed).

It's somewhat disgusting and vulgar.

I babysit for the 1 percent

quote:

The people who hire me to babysit have enough disposable income to book me on a whim, sometimes with only a few hours’ notice. Usually I am greeted by a beautiful mom who has mastered the art of styling her hair. She gestures toward a monitor and shows me where the remote is before quickly absconding with her partner (equally as beautiful, these men with the expensive watches)

quote:

Most of these apartments look eerily similar. The couches are all sectionals in muted tones with one elegant blanket thrown just so. There is a trio of incomprehensible remotes on an ottoman or side table to control a large, wall-mounted screen (which has, of course, all the cable channels and usually HBO, too). The kitchens have big empty islands, fridges and dishwashers disguised as cabinets (why so ashamed of appliances, rich people?), and drawers organized so artfully that it’s as if they fear being photographed at any moment. And these spaces are so very clean, much cleaner than my own apartment, which will only ever be as clean as I left it.

quote:

A few days later, a small sum — I make between $17–21 an hour, depending on how many kids are present — shows up in my Venmo account, and I spend it on lunches the following week.

Note: If you're so poor, bring your lunch to work.

And when socialism comes, the rich will leave and take their money with them and then the socialists won’t have them to take it from so they’ll attack the middle class and still starve. Then the bloodshed comes

Well it doesn't say the lunches are at restaurants.

Political Campaign Season is in effect. No license needed for "hunting" anything/anyone outside the MSM protected classes. So get ready to see lots and lots of anti success stuff because if ya ain't on govt. dependent status the bullseye is on your back. The only "positive" stories will the govt. successes.

Why is she complaining when they're paying her well. Would she rather babysit a working class family's kids for barely minimum wage.

Yes, it is only the Democrats that have caused the widening wage gap and massive tax cuts for the wealthy that has caused the animosity and resentment towards the wealthy.

The dumb college kids that voted for Bernie are now graduating and getting jobs as “journalist”. (Actually just op-ed creators)

Cleanliness is not a “rich people” trait. Or at least it doesn’t have to be

I’m sure in one of those “10 habits that rich people do” articles somewhere has a section about organization and cleanliness.

Or you can be a person with a woe-is-me-I’m-so-poor attitude and live in clutter and a dirty apartment

Welcome to the Awakening. There has always been a segment that sees the wealth of a society as a finite sum; a pie, if you will. Because of their limited understanding of wealth and wealth creation they believe that in order for someone to be wealthy, it can only be because they have taken it from someone else. This is the foundation of "class warfare" where the poor (or- as is most likely -their wealthy champions) demonize the wealthy for imagined theft.

Here in the good ol' USA we call these limited intellect individuals "liberals" or "progressives".

I sit in these luxurious homes with the massive TVs, the weird and inoffensive art, the fanciest baby stuff, the coffee-table books. I write and read and sometimes watch Netflix and talk to my best friend on the phone. The fact that there is a child or children in my care is pertinent, of course, but rarely hampers any of these activities, which I would otherwise be doing in my own small, considerably less well-appointed apartment. In fact, I often get more work done in these strangers’ living rooms, as there is no siren song of my bed.

Complaining about getting paid to sit on your arse in nice surroundings, occasionally being more productive than you would be at home. That right there is a Millenial.

The only thing missing is something about racism or homophobia, and it may be in there somewhere, I didn't read the whole thing.
