Yeah, you might want to go re-read servitude and zoning laws. Particularly in a light-commercial area such as Beauregard Town.
I have. I deal with this on a daily basis. Are you still waiting for them to repair your sidewalk?

The home RENTER, trinity, came out telling the COPS to get off her property.
FIFY, and the cops have legal jurisdiction over wherever the frick they want to go.
Do some basic research on servitude, right-of-way, and eminent domain and get back to me

Let me edit to say that I was not aware if the homeowner did or did not give them permission to be in his yard, nor am I aware that any other crimes were committed prior to this video being shot
That's kind of an important point, no?

And sidewalk is the owner's land. Not the city's. The city may have installed a sidewalk there but it is the homeowner's property and responsibility. That's why sidewalks become terrible. Homeowners believe the city will come back one day and fix it. There are a few instances (Brightside Drive, for example) where the city maintains the sidewalk.
How do people get through a single day with this type of ignorance?

Sidewalk Maintenance
The City-Parish Department of Public Works constructs sidewalks, curbs, and gutters along many Parish roads. Once installed, these rights-of-way become the responsibility of the property owner on whose property the sidewalk crosses. Property owners are responsible for regular maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, such as sweeping, and removal of debris and trash. If a sidewalk repair is needed as a result of a City-Parish induced problem (example storm or sewer system leak) the Department of Public Works will repair the sidewalk.
Should a sidewalk repair be necessitated because of a property owner's need or negligence, the property owner is responsible for making the change. For more information, to report a sidewalk, curb, or gutter in need of repair, or to have someone evaluate if a sidewalk repair falls under the City-Parish's responsibility, please call Citizens Service at 389-3090, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday.

Are there tards in this thread that really believe you can do illegal things, run to private property, and be absolved of whatever you did before reaching that private property?

EBR DPW actually repaired a damaged portion of sidewalk at my previous home with one call to 311...in a similarly zoned neighborhood as Beauregard town.
Took them less than 6 weeks from phone call to completion.

Was the private property, their property?
