She said it was private property. She did not say if the owners permitted them.

But I will defer to you.

That doesn't matter. You can't break the law, then just because you have permission to be on private property- treat it as a safe space. Once you break the law, there is no safe space from being arrested.

ok, then that makes sense.

It makes sense until you see the video of the home owner saying she gave the people permission to be on her property.

Dear God the stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me. "Peaceful" protester on private property =/= not breaking any number of other laws.

The protesters didn't have permission to be on the property. Homeowner came outside telling them to get off her property.
Did she?

That would be funny, as I think the home owner was interviewed later and said she allowed it.

Here's a link of the homeowner explicitly stating she gave the protesters permission. I dunno, I feel like we're done here?

That is an amazing picture. A black cop tackling white people and a black woman running away saying black lives matter. Bravo, idiots.

Sure if they're being arrested for trespassing.

jjst because you have permission to go on to your neighbors lawn doesn't mean the cops can't arrest you for illegal activity. This isn't fricking kick the can.

Surely you jest. Private property is the WOSRT place to host your protest, unless you've bot permission from the property owner. Otherwise it is trespassing.

You do understand that the law still applies to them, even if they are on private property?

In that case the owner should be arrested. They were flagged for being in the street illegally. That doesn't go away because they ran to a house.

"this is private property."

Assuming they didnt have permission to be on it, the fact that they could misunderstand something so fundamental is really alarming.

Blocking streets after multiple warnings not too and trying to get on I-110 to block that as well.

And they still have to obey the law, even if they are on private property.

Yeah, we are done here.
