I can’t even swim in a bathtub and now I have to go try to travel down a fricking mountain on a snowboard?

Anybody been there?

Ur going to have a shitty day your first day if you don't know what you're doing. Second day is hella better if you think about the tips you learned and try and work on it. You should try and get a day in before you guys go if you have the chance. I imagine your friends won't be bunny hilling it up either, so... yeah... it's going to suck for u. Get good though, and it's the greatest thing in the world!

Never been to Park City, but my pass this year includes it so I wanna try and make it up

OP if you are athletic, enjoy the greatest vacation there is. You will be thanking the guy for introducing you to the sport. If you are fat and out of shape, well...

Did you grow up skateboarding, surfing or wakeboarding? If not, you should probably consider skiing you’ll have more fun with your friends. Save learning to snowboard for another trip.

If you’ve never snowboarded before, you will not be snowboarding down a mountain.

real men don't ski

We send the women and little kids skiing so we can get away from them while we're on a turnaround

Yes. I like steamboat a lot. It’s not done up like Vail & Breck and still has that small town feel. But still has a small shopping strip downtown. A few good local pubs, strawberry fields is awesome too when it’s winter time.

Great ski town and plenty of places to go out and get blasted with your buddies after a day on the slopes. Lots of California tail walking around. I’d suggest heading to Jupiter chair for some warm up runs.

If you’ve never snowboarded before, you’re fricked.

Beautiful place though.

Park City is really pretty. Yeah, don’t even attempt to snowboard and just ski.

Helpful hint, altitude makes you get drunk much quicker, so pace yourself on the drinking.

Make sure you outfit your self with Columbia outwear from top to bottom to get maximum exposure on the mountain. People will think you are a pro!

I like Alta. Park City is great, if you're loaded.
