Debordieu, SC if that counts. It’s classified as a colony and the entire area sits in a gated community with a private golf course & private beach. Golf carts galore driving from home to home to the restaurant

Make sure to check out the cruise room while you’re there. Also, the bathrooms in the basement of that hotel are wild. The urinals are floor to chest height and like 4’ wide.

Steamboat is great. It still has that western vibe and small town charm. It doesn’t feel super rich like other Colorado ski resort towns.

Stay at the Ramble hotel and call it a day. If you’re in LoDo just stay away from Coors Field at night on the weekend. Absolute madness and nothing but trouble. I generally avoid LoDo proper living here. If I go there, I am out before the riff raff.
Private shuttle is unfortunately going to be your best bet. They are trying to come up with more public transportation options to RR but they aren’t there yet. I think you can take it to the Lakewood government building then bus from there?

I would cancel. Colorado resorts do not have enough base built up to hold off these warm temps coming. It would be rough imo.

SE part of Denver typically has these prices. Murphy Express is usually my go to at Colorado/Evans. Currently at $1.59 a gal. Several others in the area under $2.00

Weirdly enough I did a hike in that area back in August called Coyote Rock. The trail had some pretty direct signs stating mountain lions are in the area and to be on watch. I was on edge the entire hike and constantly looking over my shoulder. It was an Eerie feeling.
