That is how badly they are managing Covid in that region. The subways are STILL running and they act like they have no idea why it is so widespread. Another problem is New York City has a larger percentage of Chinese American citizens than even LA or San Francisco. Add to that the affected Europeans travelers coming in.

You mean to tell me that one of the most densely populated areas in North America is having trouble stopping the spread of a highly contagious virus? I’m stunned.

If we aren't concerned about the virus because the mortality is low, then why are we concerned how it's being managed?

Sounds pretty dumb, right? I agree.

We should be as rational as possible in all things. That's why I think statements like this thread title are silly. It suggests that the virus is not deadly, when it clearly is. It's misleading.

It is possible to be both truthful and rational.

I imagine if the worst area of the country were say, in Denver, rather than NYC metro area, the entire US would be getting much more closer back to normal.

Unfortunately low IQ individuals operate on a more binary mindset regardless of political persuasion.

Cumo is the “up and coming” Democrat. Yet his city basically has totally failed to contain the common cold. But it adds up. GO DEMS

Bruh there’s like 20 million people in that area. I’m sure this went over better in your head.

NYC is by far the most populous and most densely populated city in the US. It is also the most important business and financial center in the world. The combination of these facts makes it impossible to completely contain an outbreak there.

And calling it the "common cold" is hilariously idiotic. A quick perusal of your post history proves this to be typical idiocy from you.

It's not NYC's fault if Wyoming chooses to close though.
