15 minutes in mid-aged man shape --- but that's in a straight line and last 0.2 miles is behind the floodwall and Port of NO highway so that includes trespassing, scaling multiple walls, and jumping from the docks into river to touch water.

Accurate answer is 20-25 mins now touching river at Waldenberg park steps in French Quarter.

I'd have about 800 miles to cover and would be in St. Louis once I got to the river. That's the nearest point from my current location.

Seriously, it takes three and a half hours to drive it. So it would take 450 days to walk it and at least 3000 days to life to run it.
