I'd pay off my house. Without a mortgage, I'd live a pretty easy lifestyle.

I’d put it in liquid interest bearing funds and slowly deploy it throughout my existing positions. Problem is that most things are highly valued right now.

It’s not a bad idea. Obviously it’s not the best way to aggressively grow your money and make the most you possibly could but if that’s not your top priority then that’s your prerogative. Sounds like lifestyle is important to you and that’s okay. Nothing about what you posted has any red flags in it so do what makes you happy.

Pay off the house and all other debt, then like the first reply said, the rest into the S&P index and let it run. Then go to work the next day like normal.

Go to a seminar somewhere and invest in a really expensive timeshare.

This is what logically makes sense, but I'd probably just pay off what's left of my mortgage. Then set aside $50k each for each kid in a HYSA and contribute to a Roth IRA yearly with it. Toss 100k in the market, and then use the rest for treating myself.

Best way for me to personally use it when you're not guaranteed tomorrow.

Since I'm 64 and already retired from the Air Force, I'd probably resign from my current job and enjoy a life without work.

After taxes???? If so, I would stay tight where I am at. Get me a new truck and play golf everyday. And just relax… I doubt I would even spend it all and I hope to live at least another 20 years.

Best I recall the lottery was at hundreds of millions of dollars. A reporter was outside a store interviewing people that just bought a ticket, she ask one guy what he would if he won. After thinking about it for a second he said I would keep farming until he went broke again

Pay off my house, buy an airplane, quit my job and fly that airplane enough to be able to get experience so somebody will pay me to fly their nicer airplane.
Sell airplane. Profit.

I'd pay off my mortgage and put the rest in a brokerage account.
