South Carolina has enough white democrats escaping their own votes from blue states, they don’t need anymore

You just described all coastal communities on the gulf coast, with the exception of the gulf coast having warmer winter high temperatures.

I feel like New Orleans is more oppressively hot and muggy.

Having lived in Chicago for twenty years I didn’t know there were 30 and 40 something’s that were conservative. Got here and felt right at home when I realized they’ve gathered in the great state of SC.

Stop fricking advertising this, a-hole. It's already bad enough with the yankees moving in.

Do you think this is some kind of flex?

Well he’s a yankee, this is what they do. Come in huge numbers and destroy the local communities and environment. And constantly try to recruit more.

That's the problem I need in my life. The real problem is the average home price is $3,037,163.

People underestimate heat in the Midwest. fricking corn sweat makes the humidity Louisiana like half the time and it's in the upper 80's/low 90's.

Except in Louisiana that temp is upper 90's- low 100's. It gets way hotter in the South than in the Midwest.

No badger.

It just is a frickton better than chitown.

It’s arse hot and humid in Charlestown, and other than being a clean New Orleans, she crab soup and proximity to hella golf, it really ain’t shite.

On one hand you get great weather in Charleston but on the other hand you could take a wrong turn and get car jacked or lose your life.

Yeah this didn’t need its own thread. Charleston is already drastically different than it was even 3 years ago. Mt. pleasant has basically become Arlington, VA South with everyone trying to flex on one another. The “so what do you for a living” has started to creep into conversations here and it’s annoying as shite.

not downtown. Park Circle area, yeah. But that’ll all be completely gentrified in another 5-10 years.
