What time would you recommend being at an Area lot to get a decent spot to tailgate? I have a parking pass for C-1.
re: Anyone going to the Clemson game? Where are you parking?

Thanks guys! I live in Easley, so hopefully I can arrange a face to face.
Is StubHub reliable for a parking pass? I’ve been getting mixed messages.
Houston has two loops around the city- Beltway 8 and 610 loop.
Houston has three loops now with the addition of the Grand Parkway 99.

I was a manager at the restaurant that hosted the premiere party for Space Cowboys. When things were wrapping up he rounded up all the managers along with James Garner and Clint Eastwood to take a picture (Tommy Lee Jones had already left). I always thought that was very cool of him to do.

Check out HotSchedules. It has everything you mentioned.
I’m definitely going. I’m currently in Greenville, two hours away. We’re going to check on getting an RV spot. Looks like spots go on sale on 1/22. Worst case, it’s a day trip.

The Preserve at Verdae, River Falls Plantation, Paris Mountain, and Southern Oaks are some of my favorites in the area. All have good value and stay in good shape.

Mr. Crowe was a nice man. He went to our church when I was a kid and would give us a boxers stance or grab us by the ankles and turn us upside down when we saw him. My Dad brought his cars to his place when he needed repairs. Good memories! RIP Mr. Crowe
There is no such thing as a grouchy old person. The truth is once you get old, you stop being polite and start being honest.
During the ‘80’s, there where four great mustaches. Tom Selleck, Burt Reynolds, Sam Elliot, and …….mine.??
Mine is great. He’s a retired fighter pilot. Been retired since before I met him almost 40 years ago. Always active, still plays golf three times a week. Until just recently, he walked the round. We visit him at least every year for his birthday, but usually more. This past one was his 93rd. I take my arse kicking on the course (he shoots well below his age) and cherish every minute of it. He’s also a wonderful grandfather to my son. I couldn’t ask for better.
They called ME after Hurricane Ike to see if I needed anything the day after the storm passed through. We will never change. They have always been awesome.

My son did Greentree, Creekwood, and then Kingwood HS. He pretty much slept through his first year at LSU. Tested out of 20 + hours and was in the College of Engineering his second semester. I think you’ll be fine.
God help Harris County if there is a major hurricane this year.
re: Baton Rouge old timers: anyone remember this guy?

Yes, Baton Rouge icon! Monday morning March, “Little Rascals”, Popeye, Senor Puppet, etc. Raised money for Baton Rouge Zoo’s first elephant named “Penny” because kids donated change on his show. Being on his show for your birthday was a big deal!
We moved here in April after living in Houston for 27 years. We’re loving it. Great golf courses. Great downtown. Great outdoor activities with State Parks close by. It cracks me up when people ask us if we’re getting used to the heat and humidity.??
