Would be very easy to not have to work and have plenty of money.

How?

Well in general you should be able to essentially build an inheritance to give to yourself a few normal "lifetimes" and could set yourself up to live off passive income.

You could also use life insurance policies of loved ones naming you as beneficiary to your advantage.

Basically the same way someone with a modest income can eventually become a millionaire through one working career by spending less than they earn, you would eventually turn that into enough millions over time through the simple compounding of money that you would get to a threshhold where you passively earn more than you spend without working.

Initial reaction says hell yeah.

Do we have the ability to rescind our powers and die off if we so choose?

Yes.

The amount of knowledge I could obtain is attractive.

Yeah but how long is that gonna take? You don't have any real propulsion.

Nope. I wouldn’t want to constantly relive the moments of the people that I love constantly dying. I couldn’t imagine having multiple families and just watching them always pass. That would be a depressing way to live life.

You would learn to deal with it or not have families until you can absorb what the loss means and why it's ok.

Idk if I would or wouldn't take it if the ramifications are 100% eternal. No way. Hundreds more years? Yes, absolutely. Thousands more years? Maybe. Beyond that it starts getting merky for me.

If you could end it any time you wanted, then I'd say yes.

Yeah, you'd just drift around unless you were pulled into some random planet or star. Doesn't sound fun.

What if it is like you still feel like you need the oxygen but you can't die? Are you floating for eternity constantly grasping for breath feeling like you are on the brink of death that never comes? Sounds fun. Not to mention how fricking cold you would be. Until you come across some stars gravity pull and then you burn for another eternity. shite sounds like a horror movie.

If I chose death, do I have the option to come back in another life and time as someone else?

What if you get cancer or some other painful debilitating non-curable disease that you always have but can never die. Still a blessing?

Cons: watching all my loved ones die. Even my greatest grand children.

Pros: I might get to see Ole Miss win an SEC title in football. Even as an Auburn fan, that would be fun to watch. Kind of like seeing Haley’s comet.
