That made me sad.

What if it was like the movie, Groundhogs Day?

Agreed. Not interested in that at all.

Sure you can. Work long enough to amass a nest egg that allows you to live off the interest without ever touching the principle. And if you screw it up somehow, simply go back to work for another decade or so and try again.

But having to bury everyone you love for ever is reason enough to take a hard pass on this.

Hell no. Your secret would be found out, and this is without question.

You'd spend most of eternity as a lab rat while they try to figure out what makes you immortal.

Nothing can kill me? Hell yeah. I will be as a plague or god to countless planets. fricking, killing, consuming, providing, destroying, creating.

I'll eventually make myself into a facsimile of the High Evolutionary from Marvel. In the end when the inevitable heat death of the universe gives way to the big crunch, I will regain my motion and jizz into the new creation as it's burst forth once more. I will be in all and all shall be issue from me.

All will be made of star jizz.

Every 20-30 years, you'd have to move on and create a new identity. Once people around you notice you aren't aging like they are, it's time to adopt that new identity you've prepared.

What happens if I get shot? Does it just like bounce off, does it hurt like hell, if it’s in the head do you lose consciousness till your brain heals?

I ask because I’d take it to become a military asset and go frick shite up for the ol US of A

Sorry... but I've had 3 shoulder surgeries and need at least 2 more.
My back is a mess from my thoracic to my lumbar... its basically a bunch of small stuff (in my back) that one or two wouldn't hurt but I hit the pain lottery as my dr said (bone spurs, degenerative disc a bunch of arthritis ect). I also have severe inflammation in my fascet joints.

My knee was hyper extended about 7 years ago and know I have a awesome sounding "crunchy knee".

Because of my shoulder and back I now have nerve issues and my hands and feet are almost always cold/numb.

My ligaments in my right wrist are jacked up (I haven't had it checked out because the company doctor would probably make me go to physical therapy and I don't want to go through that right now). Some days I cant open a bottle top and shaking hands makes me damn near fall to my knees.

And to top it off I broke my little toe playing/chasing after my kid.

I work a physical job and basically the job won lol.

Does that honestly make it worth it to you?

You’re guaranteed to outlive everyone and live alone for thousands, millions or billions of years. And after that, you’ll be there when the last people die off. When the last living creatures die off. When the oceans completely boil away and ultimately, when the sun engulfs the earth and incinerates everything you know.

Then you’ll still be there, floating in empty space in orbit around our collapsed white dwarf sun. For tens billions of years. Then the sun will finally burn out and you’ll be in darkness. That will be your eternity. Floating in cold, dark space all alone. Until whatever the eventual end of the universe will be.

But you go on and enjoy that.

Weird, because I’m actually in a similar situation but not nearly as bad. Best of luck to you.

I think I would have to pass. I think there's too much risk in ending up the only human being left and you're just floating in space or marooned on some barren rock. If that ever happens, you're talking about an unbearable hell.
