If you brag about your weight loss on Ozempic, you're a clown

Reading through the obesity thread, a lot of people were touting their amazing results in weight loss through Ozempic. Some people even said the government should cover this for everyone.
Are you really that incapable of not eating too much food? Are you so incapable of control that you'll sign up to jab yourself with drugs for the rest of your life with yet undetermined side effects? If you ever come off Ozempic the weight will start coming back. So you're signing up to beg big pharma for your shot for life.
If you want to lose weight, just eat less. You are 100% in control of the food that enters your body. You can also work in some exercise too, but I know that isn't an option for all. But still, you can achieve weight loss by just not eating as much. Amazing concept, right?
Ozempic is expensive as shite. For the government to cover Ozempic for every fat person would cost an ungodly amount of money. You're expecting people to have the government take their money to pay for your fat shots because you're too incompetent to not gorge yourself on Raising Cane's. Grow up.
ETA: didn't take the downvoters long. Surprised you can click the buttons so fast with those fat fingers.

Like cousin Larry always said, if you want to lose weight, eat less food and eat more arse. RIP Larry.

Again, following the typical OT trend of "I hate fatties" but when the fatties find a way to lose weight "OMG HOW DARE THEY".

That's kind of the point of the drug.

I do hate fatties, but I hate big pharma, experimental drugs, and government control even more

My point is you can do the exact same thing without the drug, for free

Can I brag about how great my vision is after eye surgery, or should I "just wear glasses"?

Super hot take !
A fun fact. If someone has HIV and takes their medication they live a normal lifespan. If someone becomes obese and ends up on Insulin they lose 12 years. So I support medications that allow people to KEEP those 12 years.

I pay $120 a month for compounded Semaglutide at a walk in pharmacy. Cash, no insurance. I give myself the injections.
I save way more than that on food alone. I'm never hungry. I have to remind myself to eat. I have more energy. My cholesterol is down. My blood sugar is down. I don't have back pain or plantar fasciitis. I sleep better. I don't snore.
It might be the single best investment in my health and well being of all time. It will definitely save me money on health care costs in the long term.
You simply don't know what you're talking about

Lasik will not garner an angry rant for me but it does seem a small percentage of people have horrible results for some reason

Ozempic face is scary. I’m happy to report my wife is incredibly attractive and in shape naturally. She doesn’t have the mindset of a fattie and that’s a plus. Once these troglodyte women get off of the skinny meds, they’re going to plump back up like the stealth whales they are.
