I didn't downvote. But I'll answer.

I take it because it works. And I pay for it. No insurance. No government involved. My choice.

So why are you concerned with my medications and eating habits? How does it affect you?

Alcohol can cause a number of health issues, including:
Heart and circulatory issues
High blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and heart failure can all be caused by alcohol. Binge drinking and heavy drinking over time can lead to an irregular heartbeat, which is linked to sudden death.
Liver disease
Heavy drinking can cause liver inflammation, fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis, fibrosis, and cirrhosis.
Pancreas
Alcohol can cause the pancreas to produce toxic substances that can lead to pancreatitis.
Immune system
Drinking too much can weaken your immune system, making your body more susceptible to disease.
Cancer
Alcohol is a carcinogen associated with cancers of the mouth, throat, esophagus, colon, rectum, liver, and breast.
Bone health
Alcohol can increase the risk of developing osteoporosis by interfering with calcium balance, vitamin D production, and cortisol levels.
Mental health
Alcohol can cause mental health symptoms that resemble other mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, psychotic disorder, sleep disorder, depressive disorder, and anxiety disorder.
Gout
Alcohol, especially beer and liquor, can contribute to gout, a form of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid in the joints.
