I think that group is better off without Arkansas.

Sadly, I've considered us splitting up the US due to massive political differences and also because I'm a weirdo. My conclusion was that it would be most fair to split the country from Canada to Mexico so that everyone had cold and warm climates, beaches and mountains.

I think the western half would be more desirable but giving it to the commies means we'd have fewer of them to move.

I listened to a podcast recently that briefly discussed some of the options. One that stuck out to me as "most probable" in a scenario that seems highly unlikely was kind of re-federalizing our country. Take away a significant amount of Federal power and give the states more leeway to do what they want. An example was: if California wants to have a single-payer healthcare system then they could opt out of Federal Medicare/Medicaid programs and funding and do their own, but Tennessee can do whatever it wants too. If Oregon wanted to ban guns they could.

You'd probably also have re-work our voting system, which needs a re-work anyway right now. The biggest risk would be discord among states and having militia infighting among states that don't get along.

The other options involved regional groupings of states into new federations, something which the Founding Fathers fought against so many years ago in the Federalist papers.

Anyway, it's an interesting topic to think about even if you don't want it to happen at all.

I can guarantee you Texas doesn’t want the dead weight that would be Louisiana.
If it were only Texas & Louisiana, there’d be a new sheriff in town for the Bayou State.

Napoleonic Code? Gone

There’d be loop around BR in less than five years.

Bawcomville would be a National Park

256 Counties plus 64 more COUNTIES.

In 100 years Louisiana would be Texas East.

That’s where it would stop. Unless they wanted Biloxi/Mobile Bay.

Yeah. Who would want access to the Mississippi River?

CA, OR, WA would immediately break off and form their own union. So that's 1.

Obviously the South would also jump at this opportunity. I'm sure Texas would take the reigns. TX, OK, LA, AR, MS, AL, FL, TN, SC, NC, GA, KY(perhaps). That's 2.

The NE would break off as well. ME, NH, VT, CT, NY, DE, PA, RI, NJ, VA, MD, D.C. There's 3.

4 would be everyone else. I could see some of the Western tier states maybe joining the WA, CA, OR alliance but there is a lot of political difference between those states and WY, ID, MT, UT, and NV.

Are Americans going to work the jobs of picking strawberries and other fruits? No one wants to admit it but the illegals from Mexico and South America are pretty valuable to our country.

I think a Texas/Arkansas/Louisiana alliance would be strong. Bring in Oklahoma to round off the shape.

Texas already has enough slackjaws and lower class fools. It doesn’t need to acquire more liabilities of that sort.

The southeast would be made up of SEC teams

From the Mississippi River to the west just chop it in half

What's left is the northeast
