When will we stop being duped by this over promising underperforming company?

It does what I need it to do. No complaints from me. I'm on my third iPhone since 2010.

I like my apple products. They are easy to use and I'm familiar with them .

I was an Apple diehard until I tried an Android. Such a better product. Links seamlessly with my tv, computer, car, raspberry pi and I can still use headphones memory cards.

The world needs iPhones though. Some people need to have defined boundaries.

Do what you want and don't worry about what others do.

In 2007, I bought a laptop from apple.

Macbook, white with employee discount for ~$750
Cheapest 13in laptop with top specs and build quality at the time. I opted to not get the 15in Dell XPS 15 gaming laptop my brother bought for himself, which was 1100 with 3yr warranty.

In 2010, the battery had expanded (known issue), the fan had crapped out (had to replace it myself), and so I ended up fixing it and selling it on CL for $600.

Never bought another apple product again.

At the time, their specs and build quality were considered really good. Now? Specs underwhelming. Build quality is so-so. Customer service is just FOREVER.

iPhone
MacBook Pro
iPad
Apple TV
Air Pods
Apple Watch 3

Yeah, when I think about it, I’m Apple’s bitch.

I have a computer for when I need a computer. A phone for when I need a phone. Even I’m smart enough to know the difference

I’m considering moving to Android since I have a PC setup and don’t otherwise plan to ever be part of the Applesphere. What specifically will I gain/lose in such a switch?
