I’m starting to buy into the Apple built in limited life conspiracy. Wife’s 5S just bricked for no reason and my 6S+ got the herp and had to be reset to factory settings. Seems to always happen when your update comes due.

ETA: my first iPhone was a 3GS and was a beast. Best phone I’ve ever had. Never any issues and would probably still be a beast if they hadn’t made it obsolete.

I am in the same situation. I hate my work phone. I feel like people who praise IPhones and shite on android phones are those people who have never used an android for more than three minutes. With my android I can do more things and do them faster. The only advantage of the iPhone is the messaging app. It is fast and clean.

Because androids were basically marketed as the “don’t be like everyone else and get an Apple, be unique!” product. So anyone who bit on that feels they need to make sure everyone knows they broke the mold and figured out what everyone else couldn’t.

How long you had an iPhone?

I mean, its just a telephone where you call people. Who gives a frick who makes it?

Its not your life or part of it. Just use it to call people when you want to talk to them and then put it down

I don’t think the average iPhone user communicates by actually talking on the phone. It’s a texting and social media device.

Why are android users so insecure? I never think about android users at any point in my day. Yet every android user is constantly trying to sell me their phone

Because android users know their phones are better and they're trying to help you. Kind of like the people who constantly push exofficio underwear, safety razors, waze, etc. It's not that they're insecure; they just know there's a superior product that many people haven't tried.

It's pretty hard to hold your tongue when the new iPhone is announced and literally EVERY new feature is a feature that android introduced years ago.

The reason I stuck with. Apple is because on android phones without fail I notice a lag when I touch the screen to swipe and such.

There’s a reason for it, not just in my mind. When you touch the screen all background processes stop in iOS and it focuses solely on th UI. That makes it appear smoother (although evereything in the back stops). Android doesn’t do this which has the benefit that background processes keep on going but the interface can at times suffer from a lag.

The lag is never huge, if you’re used to it you probably never notice. But it’s enough for me that I keep buying Apple. I haven’t tested this out in a while so maybe they’ve fixed it.

Some people here puts lots of thought into their phone. I'm not one of those people. Last time I needed a phone I bought an iPhone because I knew how to work it already. Next time will go the same way

Meh. How do you define “better”? I’ve had both iPhones and androids by the way.

Me neither. Apple products are for people who need their technology spoon-fed to them.
