We just live pretty close to work and don't typically have to deal with it much. 25 minutes is a bad commute for me. 10-15 minutes is the norm. My wife's is about the same.

It really wouldn’t be that complicated of a fix.
The major issue is people not accelerating or paying attention.
There is a fine line between being a cautious driver and you are just an a-hole.
Slowly accelerating at the light like it’s just some casual drive is being a complete a-hole.
Watch people do self check out or pump gas. Lots and lots of people have no clue how to move efficiently

I don’t mind the traffic sometimes. I get most of my office work done in traffic.

Think it's bad now? Just wait until school is back in a couple of weeks. That 20-25 minute commute will now be 35-45.

I've always liked the idea of a hybrid office schedule where most desk jobs work 2 days a week at home. Gets workers off the road 2 days a week.
