I want to get well but I also want to be at work

Does anyone miss work when your very sick? Like sick as a dog. I have a upper respiratory virus that lasts a week. I also have a lower back that is killing me. I'm 3 days in with meds. Anyway, sitting around doing nothing on a week day is not for me.

I go to work at the office unless I think I'm contagious or physically can't function.
The latter has happened once to me (pneumonia), the former maybe once a year from having snot filled kids and I'll just work from home for a day or two.
