People use life expectancy numbers as if they accurately reflect the general population. A low life expectancy for your state basically is just a tell of how many people if your state are fat, smoke or are in a gang.

Yes. There are many studies that show poor people, and black people regardless of income, forgo preventative care. This is exactly why poor people and black people have lower life expectancies.
Black women also forgo prenatal care. That one I really don’t understand.

I've worked on five productions in SE Asia and love it. My plan is to retire in Thailand or Vietnam.

Dad turns 82 in a couple weeks. He is in great shape. His dad lived to 84. Mom died at 76. They all beat the stats.
