I’m almost positive it’s very transparent to the vast majority of posters reading, but here’s what you’re really doing with this post:
> Downplaying the problem
> Mocking anyone who’s concerned about it
> Hiding behind selectively interpreted polling
> Declaring victory

That might work on Reddit, but not here. Even if anyone were take that load of shite at face value (which is generous), you conveniently skip the part where the same polling consistently shows a majority of Americans support deportation. And it was the top reason people elected this administration in the last election.

"Downplaying the problem" - This will happen when folks pretend a non-existent problem exists....its called dismissal out of hand. Most of us do it when confronted by a flat earther with a fix for the non-existent problem of the curvature of the earth.

"Mocking anyone who’s concerned about it"- Again, when you express concern over a made up problem that does not exist you open yourself up to ridicule - I don't make the rules, I just understand and accept them.

"Hiding behind selectively interpreted polling" Are you suggesting that 60% of Americans polled do not want ICE reigned in?

"Declaring victory" When one feels that someone has declared "victory" when the latter person has merely pointed out a fact it is due to the former person knowing they are on the losing end of a point.

"you conveniently skip the part where the same polling consistently shows a majority of Americans support deportation. And it was the top reason people elected this administration in the last election."

There is a boat load of polling I haven't included but one you seem to be overlooking suggests that only 32% of Americans think ALL illegal immigrants should be deported while 51% disagree. 97% think those convicted of violent crimes should be deported while only 44% think that those in the country less than 4 years with no criminal history should be deported.

If deportations is the top reason people elected this administration, and I agree with this point, those who did so have to be terribly disappointed in Trump's dreadful numbers compared to "Open Border" Biden, Obama, Clinton and Bush...like all things Trump being inefficient and incompetent is the point....

My friend I assure you I can write a encyclopedic tome chronicling the benefits of dogs and ponies, it would be the mere work of a minute, but I gave you a pretty straightforward and concise answer to the question you posed and you seem to be unable to read it or accept it. Maybe try rephrasing? Why are you asking who would benefit from a dog and pony to begin with? This is your question and somewhat annoying demand for an answer:

"who is this dog and pony going to benefit? answer it"

Are you looking for something other than what you posted? If so I will be more than happy to enlighten you on any manner of subjects and again, I can easily further explain who would benefit from a dog and pony, but the answer to that question was already pretty well established and you seem un-satisfied....

I will agree it was apropos of nothing at all to do with anything other than the question the poster I was responding to, a silly question no doubt posed by a troubled soul who suffers from the inability to maintain the thread, as it were, who asked about who would benefit from a dog and pony. Perhaps you also are unable to follow the conversation, as posed?

some of what you are saying is true, but as noted, you are completely ignoring the census aspect. Nothing else can explain the level of intense "pro-illegal" policy supported by one side other than this.

Outside of being long established in the history of the courts there is no explanation needed unless one is looking for an answer to a question which simply doesn't exist.

Ah, another AwgustaDog dissertation, peer-reviewed by absolutely no one.

Illegal immigration isn’t flat earth…it’s measurable reality. Denying it doesn’t make you smart, it makes you unserious.

And your polling argument? You just proved the opposite of what you think: Americans support deportation, but want it done intelligently. That’s enforcement with nuance, not your “it’s not a problem” fantasy. And it most certainly is a problem, you can plug your ears and say “lalaalalala” like a 6-year old all you want. They have no business being here and many many are leaching off the taxpayer.

Then you panic and pivot to “Trump bad.” Predictable (2-3x in this thread), but tired. Congrats on self-owning with confidence.

What are you talking about? The census counts illegals too. Do you dispute that?

I know y'all want to pretend like illegal aliens are actually crime lords with supernatural abilities who can vote in high enough numbers to turn an election your way without leaving a trace of evidence but here in the real world no, or, to salve your hurt fee fees, almost no illegal alien votes and is not a constituent. Polling indicates 60% of Americans want ICE reigned in....only in MAGA world does 60% of Americans mean illegal alien....

You do realize that until blue states allow their voter rolls to be audited you don’t know shite about how many illegals are registered or voting in those states. It took an illegal getting caught with high profile job as a school district Superintendent for someone investigating how he got job to discover his voter registration in Maryland.

They have found some illegals voting and registered in red states. Being caught is more difficult when states give DLs to illegals which is a trigger for registering to vote, don’t require IDs to vote which allows them to vote for others, don’t open voter rolls to be audited, and/or don’t clean up their voter rolls.

Besides any current illegals voting or helping to commit voter fraud amnesty is how Dems will get most of the current illegals as their legal voters in the future. They are seeing current and future benefits with keeping them in and allowing more to have citizen babies and for all to get counted in the Census again to help them keep house representation numbers and electoral votes.

Obama’s first kids of illegals can start voting in beginning in 2027 thru 2035. Thats not considering the ones he allowed to stay or his who had additional kids under Trump’s first term or under Biden’s Autopen. Biden’s Autopen’s US born children of illegals start voting in 2039.

Those voters are going to be extremely motivated to support candidates that will vote to give their parents amnesty and citizenship.

Some examples
quote:

After an illegal alien, Ian Andre Roberts, the superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools in Iowa, was arrested by ICE, Republicans blew the whistle on the fact that he was a registered active Democrat voter in the state of Maryland.

According to the official website for the Maryland State Board of Elections, Roberts, who overstayed a student visa from 1999, has an active voter status and is registered as a Democrat in Maryland. The development was first reported on by columnist Dustin Grage.

Republican state Delegate Matt Morgan, who is chair of the Maryland House Freedom Caucus, told Fox News Digital that Roberts’ registration means that he is eligible to vote in all federal, state and local elections despite not being a U.S. citizen, and also despite likely not having lived in Maryland for the past decade.

Morgan explained that there is nothing in Maryland law allowing for non-citizens to be registered to vote in federal or state elections even if Roberts were still a legal resident.

WI AG Josh Kaul Appeals Ruling That Would Remove Illegal Immigrants From State's Voter Rolls

The Wisconsin Department of Justice on Monday asked a judge to immediately put on hold his order that would require elections officials to verify the citizenship of all 3.6 million registered Wisconsin voters before the next statewide election in February.

The state justice department, which represents the Wisconsin Elections Commission, is seeking the stay of Friday’s ruling pending an appeal.

This thread illustrates exactly what the problem is….6 pages of posts saying it is the fault of the other political party. Not one potential solution to the actual problem.

This mind you was after arriving to Houston from an international flight. For some reason, you now have to get through customs and then go back through TSA check point. Dumbest shite I’ve experienced ina long long time. Waited over 2 mf hours before I missed connection. This shutdown is so stupid.

Does it fricking matter? Not a single jackshit here has the power to implement a solution or the influence to spread it.

All anyone has the power to do is to avoid the problem: stop flying until this shite gets fixed.

If everyone did that, the sudden loss of airline revenue would spur the bigwigs with actual power to change things to get off their asses and fix this shite in a hurry.

As of 5:30 am wait times at both Terminal A and E are 240 minutes. 4 hours. That makes it impossible to catch an early morning flight. Plan accordingly. LINK
