25 years ago we would cruise up and down the blvd, go to broadway, hell I didn’t carry a key to our house in surfside because the door was never locked. We didn’t know how good we had it, we just stayed out of MB proper for Memorial Day weekend and the rest of the year no problems at all.

I'm judging them by the content of their character

What does the color of the policemen skin matter?

Did the police act in accordance to their protocols or not is the only question to be asked.

So frustrating

You need a mayor and police chief who will support these officers. Dealing with these out of control sheboons on a daily basis is taxing and until order is restored, expect things to continue to worsen.

Those who don't want to be policed can't be policed.

I live less than an hour from Dirty Myrtle and I try to avoid most of it when I go that way. If I go to the beach, it is in Garden City, Surfside, or Huntington State.

There was one on Santa Rosa Island/FWB/Okaloosa Island but not referred to as such as much since it was updated some years ago.... as far as I can tell anyway.

I live in SC and locals never bother with Murder Beach. Too much cultcha and the Russian mafia runs all the shops in the tourist places. You want to take your family to a nice beach? Edisto.

Myrtle Beach has two options: Stand by your law enforcement strongly on this incident, or become Detroit by the ocean and people with money to spend will find a better place to spend it.

Myrtle Beach, Biloxi during a certain week, and Freaknik in Atlanta are 3 places I would never go on purpose.

Add Nola on Essence Fest or Decadence Fest weekends.

Yep. Every spring break in high school (‘99-2003) I would stay in Garden City. My friends and I would cruise the Blvd a good bit. Especially at night and there was never an issue. Summer time was the same way. Myrtle Beach was so much enjoyable back in those days.

Life was so much better then. Before it changed. Before the dark times.

Yeah I'm critical of cops when they screw up (which is often) but these LEO did nothing wrong. At all.

Become violent, receive violence.

I don't see an issue here. But then again,
I'm not an apologist for feral behavior.
