Have fun!

Took me a bit to get used to "On your left"... but I love staying there- parked once and walked everywhere... so chill, beautiful and friendly.

Kiowa Island might be of interest to some ballers.

I have never seen a group that doesn’t know how to behave in public like that.

Kidding. I see video of it on a regular basis.

That’s LBJ if you don’t recognize him.

Avoid 21st Avenue North down to about 17th Avenue South. The rest of Myrtle Beach is perfectly fine, especially the Golden Mile area between 30th Avenue North and 82nd Avenue North. Market Common is also a nice area on the south end.
How about just go somewhere completely different?

The only reason to put up with worrying about no-go areas at a place you’re visiting is if that place is a one-of-one place in the World.

(Think NYC, Paris, Taj Mahal, Pyramids in Egypt, etc)

To avoid having to weather shitty utes like that you simply altogether avoid Myrtle Beach.

The beach itself there is average at best and the other draws there aren’t worth the squeeze.

Losing the Pavilion years ago hurt that area immensely. There's far less security and police traffic down there without it. That area's always been a bit sketchy or gritty, but now it's a total mess. New mayor just got elected, so we'll see if he can turn it around.

We used to go to Myrtle Beach every summer growing up like 20 years ago. My uncle lived off of 38 ave N on the golf course.

I used to love going to the Pavilion when it was around!

This has become our go to place the last few summers. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to this year

Us either... we're gonna finish paying off the 4Runner instead. Might take an adults only weekend trip if I'm lucky. **fingers crossed**

Plantation Point? Nice area up there. The bypass further up has been converted into a Del Webb community and a bunch of condos and townhouses that are part of the Grande Dunes family.
