I Come to the OT for some help today.

I'm going thru a very difficult time in my life right now. (wife left me, some other stuff going on). I'm doing everything I can to stay busy, hitting the gym, spending time with friends, etc. But when I'm at home alone (like right now) it gets very overwhelming. I come to you guys for some therapy today, laughter, words of encouragement, make fun of me. I don't care. I'm just really hurting right now. TIA.

I kid you not this helped me but after the ex fiance bailed on me two years ago I did all the things you mentioned in your OP but when I got home shite got real realllll fast.
I recommend if you don't already have a pet to get one. A dog or a cat will help mitigate that black hole. Trust me it will take a little bit but you WILL eventually come out of it.
Hook up with some Tinderellas to get your fix every so often.
I started watching the show Trailer Park Boys around that time because it was mindless stupid laughter. Helped a ton to pass the time.
