Should we reschedule for Thanksgiving or Mardi Gras week?
I cant imagine a more miserable experience on earth than visiting Disney during any holiday week .

I would reschedule. Suppose to be at a convention in Orlando Wed-Fri and they are likely going to cancel it.
Although, most people that were planning to go will likely cancel. The park might be pretty empty for you. If it ends up speeding up, might just be Thursday you don’t go to the park if it’s closed.
Actually, I would give it a go

This is also what I’m hoping for. Euro has it going slower and more towards the Everglades. I’m not mad at that either.

What’s y’all’s fricking problem? No I’m not a troll and I’m also not a doormat so go f*ck off. Funny how 2 days ago I posted about those disturbances in the Gulf becoming hurricanes hitting FL and y’all gave me shite for that.? Why is that? All I’m trying to do is spread and receive info and socialize with reputable people. PTSD is no joke and I’m sorry I have compassion.
I mean, all I said was “Stop”.
What you posted was just silly. You can’t eat a hurricane because you feel poorly for others. If you feel compassion, then go volunteer or donate, but keyboard warrioring for them won’t help them or you.
Besides, even if you COULD wish a hurricane a direction…even typing this makes me dumber…you pick Louisiana, so how about you frick off?
No idea why others were giving you shite two days ago, but you do seem to be quite a bit sensitive to criticism, so maybe they weren’t being mean, you just took it that way?
You’re more than welcome to socialize and spread reliable information, but this is a highly charged topic for many on here and you may hit some nerves from time-to-time.
Have a pleasant Sunday.

We got here yesterday. Hoping the rain and storm keeps the park empty.

One of my best experiences at a themepark was 6 flags on a day that was suppose to storm but didnt. Almost no lines for even the best rides. In fact, it kind of ruined it for me. Waiting an hour for a ride seemed bad before then but now its just untenable.

I have PTSD from the Vandy game last night. If you have any compassion you'll post nudes.

If this thing does make it to a Cat 5 is the expectation of it rapidly weakening by 60 mb reasonable? I know shear and dry air will be present but seems a storm that strong would fight it off long enough to not weaken that much in a short time.
Regardless it’s good news that it’ll be weakening at landfall. Much better than a strengthening storm at landfall

What makes it a death trap?
They have a fair sized yard. That has something close to 50- 60 very large trees on it. They have multiple 50 foot pine trees right up on their house and right next to neighbor’s houses. I took a video of a pine tree suspiciously swaying into my neighbor’s yard and showed my dad and he’s just like “you’re being a pussy.”
We have people occasionally stopping by there house telling them there tree situation is suspect. They ignore it. We’ve had multiple neighbors have oak trees full through their living room. No comment.
It really feels like my dad’s thought process is “I’ll be dead before anything bad happens and then it will be someone else’s problem” about so much of his life. He’s not that old

it. We still don’t know exactly what the effects will be here in Orlando
Supposed to hit just N of Polk City at 8 pm Wed. Calling for 104 with 125 winds as it heads to Disney. It should be rolling through Disney at 10:30-ish. It will keep going and cross I-4 about 100 yds north of the Bee line.
For those in the Tampa area, it is supposed to enter FL at Tierra Verde, as of right now. (115 sustained, w/ 140 gusts, at 5pm Wed.
