Small cores degrade fast and intensify fast.

Just takes a little dry air to short circuit the entire process. Bigger, more robust eyewall can typically keep it out longer. Not so today. Dry air all up in the storm now, steady weakening from here.

Lol. This won’t be one of the top 25 hurricanes to make landfall this century. I doubt it’ll even be a category 3 at landfall.
