All of these are solvable problems. They are actually a lot more solvable than living under the ocean at any appreciable depth. Humanity will expand, or it will die - that's just who we are and have been since we grabbed the Neanderthal's turf and apparently their women too millennia ago.

An interesting idea I saw yesterday was the reuse of the spacex starship hull. The starship already has more sq footage than the ISS. I’ve seen a suggestion that the stainless steel structure be buried in lunar material as an insulator and have robots convert the starship hull into a livable space.

most likely option is a dome constructed of transparent aluminum.

Without looking it up, I'm guessing they will build underground and on the light side which is partially protected by Earth.

That doesn't solve the problem because they will still need to be working on the surface and they probably dont want to take meteors straight to their space suit.

Of course it is. Don't listen to the stupid scientists.

Scientists are so inherently dumb. Not sure why anyone listens to them still. They don’t know anymore than my meemaw.

They never will. It’s far too cold. The Space talk is just the next stock market bubble to keep things inflating till a 1930s style depression. If people actually thought about these things logically not a penny would be invested or spent on it

No way bro, Doctor DOGE, the man who saved America from overspending and claims he can dig a tunnel from NYC to London is on the case. We will be on the moon living in pods of goop by 2060.

No, the Earth and Moon are not flat, but the universe is flat, which makes planets and moons appear rounder than they really are.

Think of it as a flat mirror, representing the plane of the universe. If you stretch the mirror and make it not so flat, your gut (the planet/moon) will distort into something not as round.

Humans have never even been in outer space, much less to the Moon.

No one is living there.

Elon has a plan for everything. Boring Company to make underground tunnels for homes. Tesla Motors since they'll be no gas up there. Robots for servants. Starlink for Internet. I'm sure he has something for solar.
