Fifty every morning.

I knew an old man who did fifty push-ups first thing in the morning every morning. When his mind finally left him, he was still a bowed up tough arse old man.

Four sets of 20. Four days a week.
Do other chest / triceps type stuff the other days.

So you work out chest seven days a week?

I've been allergic to push-ups since high school baseball.

I occasionally will do a more poly metric workout and hit push-ups for 10 sets of 20 with minimal (30 second) rest between sets.

I've been using the quadropress push up board for about 6 months and love it. Recently added resistance bands made for push-ups and the shite really works.

I have a deal with myself that I do 20 push-ups every time I’m feeling like a useless desk-bound turd at work. Did 600 yesterday.

50/day, but that’s comprised of 25 one-arm push-ups from each arm.

40. Could do more…but why?

I had a few months layoff out of curiosity.

Then did 40 again. Now I’m wondering if I really need to do it every day.
